But the journey of aging can bring forth questions and concerns about safety, independence, and maintaining an active quality of life. Welcome to "Safe Aging In Your Home" an empowering coaching group, a supportive community where you don't have to navigate these questions alone and where you learn that leaving your cherished home is not the only option.

In this coaching group, you will learn to identify your physical strengths and areas that may place you at risk for injury or falls. We explore practical ways to adapt your living environment to decrease fall risks and improve your ability to continue to efficiently engage in everyday care tasks at your desired activity level.

Learn to safely age in your home, gaining knowledge from expert-led discussions and practical solutions to allow you to adapt how you perform tasks and setup your environment to bring you improved safety and your loved ones greater peace of mind.

Join the “Safe Aging In Your Home” coaching group, a safe place to share your concerns and be equipped with tools and strategies to help you live your best life in your home.

  • We offer online two sessions a month for our “Safe Aging In Your Home” group:

    • Tuesday Morning Session: These session is held on select Tuesdays in the morning.

    • Thursday Morning Session: This session takes place on select Thursdays in the morning.

    In addition to these regular sessions, we also offer PM sessions based on the needs of our members. These PM sessions may vary in timing, depending on the preferences of the participants and the topics covered.

    We are also open to organizing community group workshops as needed to provide additional support and engagement opportunities for our members.

    So, you have multiple options to choose from to accommodate your schedule and preferences."

  • Our “Stay Safe In Your Place” coaching group primarily offers online sessions for the convenience and safety of our members. These online sessions are held on specific weekdays in the morning and, if needed, in the evening.

    However, we understand that some members may prefer or require in-person coaching. In such cases, we are open to exploring the possibility of organizing community group workshops or in-person sessions, provided there is sufficient interest and it aligns with safety guidelines.

    So, our primary mode of coaching is online, but we are flexible and open to accommodating in-person sessions when necessary.

  • Our aging in place group offers new sessions every month, ensuring a fresh and engaging experience for our members. Each session typically lasts for 1 hour, and during this time, we cover various home safety topics in depth. The last portion of the session is dedicated to questions and answers, allowing our members to seek clarification, share experiences, and engage in meaningful discussions.

    The topics we cover are based on concerns indicated in questionnaires that our members complete. This personalized approach allows us to address the specific needs and interests of our community, ensuring that our sessions are highly relevant to your concerns.
