A Month of Increased Focus on Falls Prevention
Falls prevention is at the heart of what we do all year long. During September, Finding A Foothold Foundation is intensifying our community outreach in recognition of Falls Prevention Awareness Month.
We are planning eight falls prevention education and outreach events throughout the Baton Rouge metropolitan area, bringing practical information, resources, and community connections directly to older adults and caregivers where they live, gather, and receive services.

There are several ways for organizations to join our September effort:
Become a September Sponsor
Community Sponsor — $400
Community Impact Sponsor — $800
Sponsorship helps provide educational materials, adaptive equipment for hands-on demonstrations, and, when feasible, select low-cost safety and adaptive products for older adults.
Participate as a Community Resource
Organizations interested in participating at select outreach locations may indicate their interest. Opportunities are based on community needs, available space, and host-site policies.
